How it works
How a review works.
You send one competition match or training roll. A Matstories coach watches it and tells you what to work on next. You do not need an Australian competition record.
What to have ready
- One video, up to 20 minutes
- A competition match or a training roll
- Permission to share the footage with the coach
- A Matstories account, because sign-in, payment and the upload happen there
What happens on Matstories
- You confirm the Australian dollar price before you pay
- You upload the video there
- A Matstories coach watches it
- You receive video feedback and a written summary, in English
- Matstories emails you when the feedback is ready
Keep your own copy of the video as well. Matstories stores the upload you send with the review.
Example
The shape of the feedback
This drawing uses made-up footage and a made-up note. It shows the kind of comment a coach might leave.
From your video to your next session.
Illustrative exampleStart with your posture.
Your head comes forward before the guard opens. Get upright before you try to pass.
Keep your posture in closed guard.
Start in guard. Hold your posture while your partner tries to pull you forward.
Your footage stays private. This drawing is an illustration, not a customer's review.
When you want the review
One review is AUD $25, charged once on Matstories. There is no published delivery time, and the feedback is in English.
